Important points to note about CAT 2018 Application Form
- 1. CAT 2018 Application Form will be available online only
- 2. The CAT 2018 application form fee is expected to be Rs.1900/-
- 3. In case of filling incorrect information in CAT 2018 online application form not only the candidature of the aspirant will be treated as invalid but the CAT application fee will also be forfeited.
- 4. CAT 2018 application can be completed in 3 steps.
- 5. You can save and exit the CAT 2018 application form any number of times to edit and complete it later or can Save & Continue each section till you submit the application.
- 6. Fee for CAT application is to be paid after completing your CAT online application 2018
- 7. If you do not pay the CAT 2018 application fee after completing your CAT 2018 application form, your CAT application will remain incomplete and you will not be allowed to appear in CAT 2018 exam.
How to fill CAT Application Form 2018
In order to fill up the CAT 2018 application form, applicants have to login through their user ID and password and fill up the application form by entering the correct information. The CAT application form 2018 is divided into following categories or sections:
- 1. Personal Details
- 2. Contact Details
- 3. Academic Details
- 4. Work Experience
- 5. Selecting IIMs to apply for
- 6. Selecting Test Centres and Interview Cities
After filling up information on each page, candidates have to click on Save & Next tab. Applicants have to upload their photograph and signature in the given dimension. The last step is to pay the application fee through Credit/Debit Card or Net Banking.
Documents needed to complete CAT 2018 Application
Following are the mandatory items of information you need during the CAT 2018 online application process:
- 1. Educational history
- 2. Mark sheets (10th /12th/ Degree/Diploma)
- 3. Work experience, if any
- 4. Applicable Certificates to upload
- 5. Scanned images of your passport size photo and signature. (The photo should not be more than six months old and should have a white background)
- 6. Scanned image of Passport size photo with the dimensions 35mm X 45mm along with the scanned image of your signature with the dimensions 1000mm X 35 mm. is required to be uploaded at the time of registration for CAT 2018. Please note that the documents file format should be .jpg or .jpeg and the file size should not be more than 80KB each. The image should be clear with a minimum resolution of 150px.
CAT 2018 Application Fee
- 1. The application fee is Rs. 1900 for General category candidates and Rs. 950 for SC/ST/PWD category candidates.
- 2. The mode of application fee payment is through Credit/Debit Card or Net Banking.
