So finally the time has come to bell the. CAT with the mouse. As the D-Day of 29th November is approaching, we are sure that the heartbeats of the students have gone up a notch. But not to worry. We are going to normalize that.

This year's CAT is going to be unique. After it went online in 2009, for the first time, there is going to be access to calculators. Logical Reasoning and Data Interpretation have been separated from Verbal Ability and Quantitative Ability sections respectively and been put together as one full-fledged section. And the most intriguing development is - the questions without multiple options. This is something unique in the history of management aptitude tests.

Target MBA was an event organized by CPLC on Saturday, 25th July 2015. The main agenda was CAT 2015 which is supposed to be just one day two slots phenomenon this year. The key speaker was Dr.Himanshu Rai, Ex-Convener of CAT and currently Dean, MISB Bocconi. He addressed the student queries regarding CAT '15 as well.

Along with this, the event also featured a presentation by CPLC faculty Jaimin Shah on the trends and scoring in CAT and other examinations and the interaction with achievers.

The event was held at Barfiwala Auditorium, D.N.Nagar, Andheri (West).

The All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) announced on Friday that from this year onwards the CMAT exam held in September will be discontinued, and the test will be held in January every year. The CMAT is the test for admissions to AICTE-approved management institutes.

This change has been introduced as all other MBA entrance exams are held only once a year, says an AICTE Official. The notification for the January test will be released soon.

This year’s CAT examination has undergone a huge change in the way the examination will be conducted. According to a press release, candidates will no longer be able to choose their exam date, session or centre.

CAT 2015 will be held on 29th November 2015 in 136 cities across India comprising 650 centres. Candidates will have to enter 4 cities as their preferred centres. The cities and centres will then be allocated to candidates after the last date of registration.
