CPLC CMAT programme

Duration: 120 hours

Batches start at various stages in the year

  • Batches starting in Apr/May for CMAT are held thrice a week for 3 hours
  • Batches starting in Jun/Jul for CMAT are held thrice a week for 3 hoursBatches starting in Sept/Oct for CMAT are held Five days in a week for 3 hours.
  • Test Series of various exams start from October till January, post which the GD-PI training starts.


Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is a national level entrance examination conducted by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The CMAT is a three-hour computer based online test which is conducted in a single session to evaluate the candidate’s ability across various segments like Quantitative Technique, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension and General Awareness. This test facilitates institutions to select suitable graduate candidates for admission in all management programs. The CMAT score is accepted by all AICTE-Approved B-Schools in India.

Eligibility :-

For Management 2 years programs (PGDM, MBA programs and similar): Recognized Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 Yrs duration Obtained at least 50% (45% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) at the qualifying Examination. Final year students of Graduate Courses can also apply.

CMAT Exam paper pattern

Test mode : Computer Based Test

Conducted :  Once a year in the month of January.

Duration : 180 mins (3hrs)

Marking scheme : 4 marks each for every question, 1 mark negative marking for every wrong answer.
